Pink Floyd - One of My Turns (Film Version) + Lyrics

  • The song is split into three portions; a fragmented dialogue, a quiet lyrical portion, and a loud lyrical portion.
  • As with the other songs on The Wall, One Of My Turns tells a portion of Pink's story. The album's protagonist. Pink invites a groupie into his room after learning of his wife's affair. At first when the groupie tries to get his attention, he is too busy thinking of his wife to hear her. As the groupie continues to try to get his attention, Pink explodes into a fit of violence and destroys his room.
  • Pink lets a groupie in his hotel room. After she tries to seduce Pink, he enters a rage and destroys the hotel room, cutting his own hand after he throws a television set out his window into the road below. This scene is also where Pink speaks his only non-lyrical line, when he yells "Take that, fuckers!" ("Next time, fuckers!" on some film adaptions) as he tosses the television, and cuts his hands on glass.
