Dick Parry is an English saxophonist who knew David Gilmour from an early age and was in the band Joker's Wild with Gilmour.

During the Pink Floyd era Gilmour persuaded Parry to play some saxophone solos in some of their songs, these include "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. I-V)", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. VI-IX)", "Money", "Us And Them" and "Wearing The Inside Out". Dick Parry also played these solos with Pink Floyd on tour between 1973 and 1977, he also returned for their 1994 tour.

After Pink Floyd, Parry went on to play with Gilmour on his live dates and also played "Money" in Pink Floyd's Live 8 Reunion.
